Religion in my life up to now

I have been taking adult instruction classes through Oak Park Lutheran church in rural Oklee. I have decided that I would like to become a memeber of the church. Growing up my family did not attend church as I wish we did. We were considered Catholic but never attended church every sunday. Once I started my family with Eric and our three children I said to myself I would really like to become a member of a church and have a better relationship with God  for myself and to teach this to my children. I have gone to Oak Park when I have been able to attend worship on sunday. I have gotten to meet members of the church and I have felt like this is a church that I feel comfortable going to and being an active member in. Everyone is so welcoming and  friendly. It sure was something to get use to for my two old boys Jared and Justin they have never been to church as their father never wanted to attend church. I decided that I would volunteer for this years Vacation Bible School to help out with the crafts as I dont feel I am knowledged (if thats a word) to teach the children the word of god. I planned craftd for the kids to do in a fast couple of days. I hve never taught or helped out at a church before so as you could imagine I felt like a kid at a new school on the first day. I am not going to lie I was sweating bullets and nervous. As it would be weird or different for someone who is not use to praying or anything of that sort. I have started this past year reading bible books and stories to the kids an reading out of the Veggie Tale devotions for boys book. I have just started to feel comfortable praying and for after quite sometime I feel comfortable singing the hyms. This has been a wonderful blessing to have gotten to know all 35kids that attended VBS this year. I really look forward to helping out next year and even helping out with other things for our church. ,I remember going to the catholic church I wanted Jared to be baptized in and the priest not flat out but in his own words said we couldnt baptize Jared during the churc service because the child was born out of wedlock and we were not married and the godparents were not church members or even catholic. So that was that Jaredwas never baptized and nither was Justin. I have spoken to Pastor at Oak Park about baptizing the boys as I feel that they need to be baptized. He said whenever we would like to have them baptized we could do it. This has also made me feel welcomed to this church. I know I tend to ramble on and go off subject then go back to the subject ugh I have poor writting/blogging skills probably because I havent written any sort of paper since highschool! Well back to VBS I will share a few pictures!

Angee Pants Cloth Diapers and MORE review

I have gotten the plesure to test out diapers for some WAHM! I have gotten a Angee pants cloth diapers and more one size cloth diaper to test on my daughter Brielle. I have to say when I saw the diaper I was pleased with what I recieved shipping was fast and the diaper looked amazing! The feel of the diaper was soft and I liked how the opening for the insert is similar o Applecheeks this is something I havent see WAHM do I have see the opening for pocket diapers in the front or the back but not in the middle. The pattern of the diaper I got was something that would be considered a gender neutral pattern. The snaps were lined up exact the insert was a very good quality insert. The prices is very reasonable and I didnt have any leaks with this pocket diaper during the day. I did have some leaking at night when I used just one insert I used two microfiber inserts and one hemp insert and that did the trick so it would not leak. I recieved great cusomer service from Angee pant CD and more. She kept everyone in the loop as to when items would be shipped and the process of the orders. Overall  would recommend this diaper to other Cloth diapering moms out there because I was satisfied with this diaper and the customer service. I will  be posting below a price list of items they carry not just diapers. Check them out on face book also here are some links and information about this shop!

praying for the best

as you all may know Back in Feb was told that had a rare high grade precancer in my cervix. I had my surgery done in March and the healing process went exceptional. Well as a result of the precancer and having to have surgery. it has been three months since my procedure and am due for my papsmear to make sure the precancer come back. it takes about two weeks to results back. so will be pretty nervous. sure hope that  it goes well. I can't lie but I am sure nervous about this. If I was to show that the precancer came back then I'd have to have surgery once again and trust me that was not ok. We take things for granted way too much. We don't sit and think thank you lord for giving me health. But it sure is that things like this should mean more than anyhing in the world!

Button Bumpers

Well I have gotten the pleasure to become a loyal customer of Virgina who is the WAHM behind Button Bumpers. I first purchased two cloth diapers from her through an auction. I was very excited to get to try and support a WAHM! Virginia was very friendly and easy to communicate with. She responded to my questions and emails quickly This was a great first impression for me to hve of her. She not only makes cloth diapers but also makes the following: cloth diapers, cloth wipes, baby legs, kid toolbelts, little girl purses, breast pads, diaper covers for sposies and so many more items. I have boughten cloth diapers, training pants, babylegs, diaper covers, cloth wipes,snack/wipe pouches.  I have to say I have not been disappointed anytime with anything I have recieved.  I absolutely love her diapers! She makes them custom fit or onesize 6months and one size 6+months cloth diapers. Her diapers are AIO,POCKETS, AND  just recently added WRAPS!!! Button bumpers diapers are either made out of blizzard fleece or PUL with and outer of cotton or flannel. Blizard fleece is a less expensive fleece material that does not require the PUL because it keeps the wetness away from baby. I have had my daughter inthese  for as long as 2hours without leaks. Pockets are the ones that you can stuff and are made with the PUL material to avoid leaks these are more expensive but you can stuff them for naptimes or overnight use with hemp and microfiber inserts. Fitted button bumpers diapers are made with 7layers these are perfect for summer time so that baby doesnt get too hot in the flece diapers. If you are looking to help the enviroment and use sandwich bags for snacks sandwiches you should try her reusabl snack pouches these can be washed and reused saves the planet and saves you money! the feel of he diapers are soft and are gently on your babies bum. All diapers are made with velcro and have velcro laundry tabs. Button Bumpers items range from $2.00-20.00 which makes cloth diapering affordable!!!!  I WOULD GIVE BUTTON BUMPERS ON A SCALE OF 1-10 A 10 BECAUSE I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN PLEASED WITH WHAT I ORDERED!

The New cloth diapers Duca Duca

I was choosen along with other mom bloggers to review the Duca Duca Cloth Diapers which are new cloth diapers on the market. My first impression of it was this diaper reminds me of a fuzzibunz diaper because of the elastic in the legs that is adjustable. Only thing about the appearance I think could be changed is the logo on the butt of the diaper it is a duck which is cute but the eyes should be white not the red. The fit was nice it has adjustable elastic in the legs to make it larger or smaller. I think Brielle will be able to use the Duca Duca diaper till she approx 32lbs. This is a pocket style diaper so you stuff it with a insert. Th insert is easy to place in and remove. This diaper with a microfiber then a hemp insert is pretty absorbent for night time. I use bumgenius detergent with washing the diapers. I air dry them in the laundry room. Overall this a fairly nice diaper and I would recommend it to other moms who like pockets. I would give it on a scale of 1-10 a six. These arent on the market yet so I am unsure of the actual price of them. I would say this is one of my favorite diapers out of the test diapers I have gotten!I have 5 more cloth diapers to type up some reviews for and cant wait to see how they compare to the Duca Duca cloth diapers!!!!!!

Online Surveyor

I became a Knowledge Panel member and have been doing online surveys for them for about 4months. It gets borrowing at times but its rewarding by every survey is approx $4.00 so 4,000 points once you gfet 25,000 point or $25.00 you can cash out or enter raffles. I have in the 4months that I have been doing surveys online for thm eared $40.00 with this money I use to actually buy some flowers, seeds, red mulch ect to start my lawn scaping adventure. I also do surveys for a compay called synovate they cash out at $50.00 and I have been with them for 2months. This is something that most stay at home moms can do to earn alittle for just filling out surveys. I was actually going to look into being a mystery shopper for companies to rate buisnesses.

so if you want something to do and earn alittle cash slowly I suggest becoming a online surveyor!

life as I know it

Well it sure has and always is a very busy active household! I wouldn't expect anything else between having jared (4yrs),Justin(2 1/2yrs), and Brielle(4 1/2months). Between playing, disciplining, learning, cuddling ect 24hrs is not enough! But the thing that captives me is how their personality is so different from each other jared is the calm and patient, Justin is the wild little firecracker full of energy nonstop, and Brielle is a playful cuddly baby girl. I take in how different but alike they are sometimes how they fight bit also get along. You can just imagine and wonder what they will accomplish now and In the future.

Meet my family!

Jared 4yrs old

Justin 2 1/2yrs old

Brielle 4months old

MY PRECIOUS GIFTS!

~ childrens photos were taken by Alyssa Nelson~
This is Eric and Myself (Lissette) last year in Las Vegas after we got married!

I've survived!

Well it sure has been awhile since I have blogged well I guess when it seems like I only have 5mins of free time here and there between three kids! But I wanted to post my follow up information about my surgery I had on March 8th. I as in one of my last post I was diagnosed with high grade rare cervical cancer. The reason it is rare is because it only affects 3% of woman because unlike all of the other cervica cancer this one is not caused by HPV. I ended up having a LEEP procedure done. This is a same day surgery. I was sedated for this procedure. I was terrified so may things went through my head. I have never been sedated in any way shape or form so this was very scary. the prodecure lasted 20mins approx. I was back in recovery and the first thing Icould think of was telling the nurse to call my husband who was at home with our three children. I was relieved to be awake for once!!! I ended up being able to go home after my procedure 4hours later. I was in recovery for a month. I saw the doctor for a post op a week after my procedure healing was going well so she had to see me in 3weeks. Went for my 4week post op and everything looked like it had never been through the LEEP procedure they got the results back and they had been able to get all the precancer. I was relieved. But I have to now go back in July this year for a pap then 3months after hen 3months after and if all is good and precancer doesnt come back then I move up to twice a year. Unlike woman who have never had a abnormal pap once the get their hystorectomy done they dont need paps done anymore I will need them once a year still for the rest of my life because it can always come back. So if  you think paps are horrible they save lives! I am happy that my results were well and I pray to god that it will continue like this! So please make sure you dont neglect an important test as a PAP!

my health/ the importance of women's health

I went in to the clinic for a routine 6week post partum appointment. I felt healthy and full of life after being blessed with such beautiful children and a wonderful husband in my life. As we all know at your routine postpartum visit you have a papsmear done. Yes I know one of the worst test we women have to do.well I have never had a abnormal papsmear so I thought hey I'm done for a year. I received a call from my doctor and she said that my pap had came back abnormal. My heart was racing and I didn't know what to say what to think. She said I need to make an appointment for a biopsy of the cells. So I went in two days after the call. The doctor then told me that results would be in in a week. This was the longest and worst week of my life! I called in exactly a week after my biopsy only to find out some of the cells where high grade precancer and the other spots where inflamation that could be the process of turning into precancer:( the cause of my precancerous cells was an abnormal kind they said that only 3% of woman get this. Which she explained the other cause of cervical cancer is HPV. But I tested Negative for HPV. She also said if left untreated it could spread and in 30% of the woman that have this is actually turn to cancer. I have to have a LEEP procedure to remove these cells from my cervix. I will have to be sedated for the surgery. After surgery I will see the doctor at 1week,then 1month, then every 3months for a year then every 6months for 2years and if no precancer comes back I move up to one papsmear a year! So I cannot stress how important it is for us women to get papsmears done!

future plans

Well I have considered going back to school after our last little one is in kindergarden. But I have been thinking over the past 9months what would be something I'd really enjoy and have flexibility to still be able to spend a lot of time with my family! I have been browsing at SLR digital cameras. I have not been able to narrow down what I'd like to purchase!I wan something I can see myself with for quite sometime! Something that I can purchase different lenses. I've always been in to the arts from pottery, crafts, photography, cosmetology ect. I have discussed with Eric my husband what I would like to do in the future and that would be build a nice size building outside like our tool shed and make it a little studio get props and set up to have that as a photography studio. Of course with the options of doing travel photo shoots and outdoor photoshoots! I think I enjoy photography because its never the same thing or the same person! Photographs tell a story! So we will see if I can narrow down what camera I will get! Also will be looking into a easy to use photo editor program! Once I get this all set up and make my purchases I will start a portfolio:)

bumbledoo cloth diaper review

I got the opportunity to test a new cloth diaper Malia @ Bumbledoo came up with. Once I received it my first impression wasthat I loved the print, the feel of the fleece,it was a one size diaper meaning it will be a diaper that will grow with your child! I'm a big fan of One size cloth diapers. The snaps was a plus because velcro is so easly taken off by little ones once they figure it out! When I was done looking and feeling the cloth diaper I preped it to start using it on Brielle my two month old daughter. I used this diaper a lot of times! The diaper leaked on me twice out of all the uses not sure why Brielle didn't wet heavy through it. It was mostly where the bumbledoo tag was on the butt part of the diaper. I think the diaper was good because it wasn't bulky! It was almost as if Brielle could of been wearing a sposies! On a scale of one to ten with one being disatisfied and ten being very dissatisfied I would say I'd give it a rating of 8.5 because of the leaks. This was my first diaper I have of bumbledoo. Looking forward to purchasing in the future from Malia. Customer service is excelent! You can find her fan page on facebook.com (bumbledoo) and also visit her website www.bumbledoo.com!

How to live life!

A 92-year-old, petite, well-poised and proud man, who is fully dressed each morning by eight o'clock, with his hair fashionably combed and shaved perfectly, moved to a nursing home today.
His wife of 80 years recently passed away, making the move necessary. After many hours of waiting patiently in the lobby of the nursing home, he smiled sweetly when told his room was ready.

As he manoeuvred his walker to the elevator, I provided a visual description of his tiny room, including the eyelet sheets that had been hung on his window.

I love it,' he stated with the enthusiasm of an eight-year-old having just been presented with a new puppy.
Mr. Jones, you haven't seen the room; just wait.'

'That doesn't have anything to do with it,' he replied.

Happiness is something you decide on ahead of time.

Whether I like my room or not doesn't depend on how the furniture is arranged ... it's how I arrange my mind. I already decided to love it.
'It's a decision I make every morning when I wake up. I have a choice;
I can spend the day in bed recounting the difficulty I have with the parts of my body that no longer work, or get out of bed and be thankful for the ones that do.

Each day is a gift, and as long as my eyes open, I'll focus on the new day and all the happy memories I've stored away. Just for this time in my life.

Old age is like a bank account. You withdraw from what you've put in. So, my advice to you would be to deposit a lot of happiness in the bank account of memories!

Thank you for your part in filling my Memory Bank.
I am still depositing.

'Remember the five simple rules to be happy:

1. Free your heart from hatred.
2. Free your mind from worries.
3. Live simply.
4. Give more.
5. Expect less.

Home made Laundry detergent and Lotion!

Here are some homemade detergent reciepes and also one for hand lotion. I  recieved this from my mother in law she says she can notice after one that hre clothes are softer. Also say black stuff on top of the water in the washer the dirt and junk it pulld from your clothes what store bought detergents dont do.

Laundry Soap

This is a low sudsing soap.  Great for front loading washers.
Don't be fooled by the low sudsing and think you need more soap!

1/2 Cup "20 Mule Team Borax"
1/2 Cup "Arm and Hammer Super Washing Soda"
1/3 bar Fells Naptha Soap

Grate 1/3 bar of Fells Naptha into 6 cups very hot water and stir until "melted".

Pour 4 cups hot water into a pail or other 2 gallon or larger size container
add washing soda and borax.....stir until dissolved

add soap/water mixture and stir lightly

Add 1 gallon plus 6 cups hot water and stir

Let mixture sit 24 hours (until jelled)  Do not stir or disturb

I break up the jelled soap with my hands and put it in smaller containers.

This makes 2 gallons............use 1/2 cup per load, more or less.

I sometimes spread soap on stains to "pre-treat".

Powdered Laundry Detergent

1 Cup grated Fels Naptha Soap                             or 6 bars Fels Naptha soap
1/2 cup washing soda                                               3 cups washing soda
1/2 cup 20 mule team borax                                      3 cups borax

Mix and store in airtight container............use 1 Tbsp for small load, 2 Tbsps. for medium load, and 3 Tbsps. for large load

Tip:  The above recipes will not make suds in your washer so don't be alarmed.  Fels Naptha is a pur soap and makes little or no suds.  You will also notice the need to either reduce your laundry softener or eliminate it

Moisturizing Lotion----great for skin disorders (psoriasis, etc. and those "hard heels")

3 ozs. (1/3 cup) Vaseline
15 - 22 ozs Johnson's Baby Lotion
4 ozs Vitamine E Skin Care Cream
OPTIONAL-----1 oz Vitamine E Oil, Almond Oil, or other oil

Mix well with electric mixer and put in smaller containers

I ALWAYS double the recipe.

my cloth diapering adventure has started!

I am very excited to have started our family's cloth diaper adventure! Brielle is 5weeks old today! we have been doing cloth diapers now for approx. 2weeks! I am loving every min of it! I always had thought about cloth diapering but never had the opportunity to start it due to living in an appartment ect. Now I get the chance to experience cloth diapering, organic home made baby food, breastfeeding, gardening, ect. I am thrilled for summer to come around! I will be one busy stay at home mom! I cannot express how amazling helpful it was to have a friend/neighbor show me the ropes to cloth diapers! I had done research online but speaking to her was very helpful. She definetly is someone to admire and look up to she has twins she uses cloth diapers on! I think as long as we have our routine cloth diapers with Brielle will go well. We also use cloth wipes and homemade cloth solution. I cant believe how easy it is to make things just as easy as going to the store and buying them!!! I will be posting reciepes, life updates, reviews, ect on my blog I hope to post atleast once a week. Since being a stay at home mom to 3 is busy busy busy!

Hello My name is Lissette Reinbold formerly (Lissette Garza). I was born in California but have spent the last 17years in Minnesota. My parents are divorced My mom lives in Gentilly and my father lives in Texas. I have 4 siblinngs: Angelica 32,Jessica 31,Roy29,and Mario JR 19. I will be married for 1year May 26 2011! Eric and I got married in Las Vegas which was a suprise to everyone since we kept it a secret. I have 2 children from a previous relationship Jared 4yrs old & Justin 2 1/2yrs old. Eric and I welcomed our daughter to our family Dec 22 2010 her name is Brielle! I am a stay at home wife and mom. I am just getting into cloth diapers! I am a breastfeeding, cloth diaper, and baby food making mom! Brielle is actually my first child I have to opportunity to breastfeed. When I was 37weeks 2days pregnant with Jared I had to have an emergency induction because I had developed Preclamsia and the doctor said my eyes and liver had started to swell due to my having preclamsia I was scared my family wasn't back from going to texas and mexico over christmas break. I drove myseld to Grandforks from Crookston so approx. 35mins. I was told I would be started on pitocin and anti seizure medication through my IV have my blood pressure monitored ever 15mins untill I delivered Jared. The doctor said he would try to have me have a vaginal birth but since I wasn't dialated and my cervix wasn't open that I might end up with a C-section especially since this was my first baby. My blood pressure was approx. 198/184 and I was scared. 12 hours later at 1:16am I had a healthy 6lb 19inch baby boy named Jared Matthew Lenhart.he was delivered Vaginally. I was in the hospital 3days then we go discharged and I had to see my doctor the next morning after my discharge. I went in the next morning and I had really highblood pressure and couldn't walk on my own I had edema so bad. So I was readmitted to the hospital. My son was with my parents. I ended up being started on iv fluids and anti seizure med also on some bloodpressure medication. I ended up having to stay in the hospital for almost 2weeks! On Sept 27 2008 I had Justin Hector Lenhart with no complications what so ever but a 13hour labor he was born @ 11:59pm.I didn't get the opportunity to breastfeed the boys is because I was on medication for 6months after having Jared and with Justin I was work 40hrs a week and I was able to pump for him. I was extreamely ill with nausea, vommitting, back pain, and bladder infections with Brielle Eunice Reinbold I had approx 10 iv fluids done on me and went into preterm labor with her and ended up having to have medications to stop my preterm labor. I was induced at 39weeks 3days I was in labor for 4hours Brielle was born @ 10:11am 7lbs 5oz 19inches! Eric is a farmer he is selfemployed. We live out on a farm. We have been trying to make our and our childrens lives "green"! I thought I would start a blog on our life and cloth diapers ect!
